Sweet Suite is an exciting annual event where all of the best toy companies gather to provide a sneak peak into the upcoming toy releases for the holiday season! As a major sponsor of the event, Pokémon was allocated a large area within the venue at Pier Sixty. We built out a custom Pokémon branded experience on the Terrace space within the venue. We were tasked with showcasing new Pokémon products, emphasizing the newest release of the original 151 Scarlet and Violet packs, building out the PlayLab where guests would learn to play the wildly popular card game, and a promotional photo moment for their brand new concept: Pokémon Sleep.
We decked out the space with custom window clings that were highly visible upon entering Pier Sixty and helped define the Terrace space for guests. The PlayLab featured a custom hero wall and 8 ft Pokéball where some of the country’s top Professors taught guests how to play the card game. The Pokémon Sleep area boasted 10 ft fabric walls and a glamping photo opportunity complete with Pokémon plush, string lights and a fun tent! The newest Snorlax character was debuted where guests were able to snap a photo. The area also featured Pokémon themed desserts!
