Seattle seahawks super bowl ring ceremony

When the Seattle Seahawks entrusted us with producing their Super Bowl Ring Ceremony, our goal wasn't simply to create an event, we wanted to do something that had never been done before.

From the earliest stages of planning, SE Productions worked in lock-step with our friends at the Seahawks to lead every aspect of the production. We worked to transform over 70,000 square feet of an airplane hangar to develop an immersive experience that unfolded in three completely distinct environments, each designed to surprise guests and build anticipation for what was coming next.

The experience began with an arrival space unlike anything guests expected. Guests first entered the building through the normal office hallways, which then opened up into a silver on silver hallway with a chrome on chrome backdrop and the Vince Lombardi Trophy on display. The hallway ended in a dramatic circular room built entirely of custom silver draping, centered around a statement bar. Chrome accents, custom silver chain divider walls, and massive flown projection screens showcased highlights from the championship season while creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and monumental.

Guests then transitioned into the dining experience through dramatic rolling low-lying fog, revealing an entirely different world. The silver palette gave way to a rich navy environment where every detail focused attention toward the evening's defining moment.

Together with the Seahawks organization, we conceived and executed the most ambitious ring presentation in NFL history.

The presentation moment of the Super Bowl rings is the most critical part of any ring ceremony, and past events have included many creative ways to hide or display the rings. We knew we wanted to do something completely unique, so we presented the idea of having every player's ring descend from the ceiling simultaneously. Bringing that vision to life required months of engineering, prototyping, and collaboration. Our team designed and fabricated custom ring delivery mechanisms that could be rigged overhead, disguised as decorative pendant light fixtures throughout the dinner. When the moment arrived, the room fell completely into darkness before lighting, music, and video cues revealed the rings descending from above in perfect synchronization.

To execute the vision for this event and create the necessary grid for truss, decor, and automation, the production utilized more than 150 motors overhead, creating one of the most technically complex environments we've ever built.

Following the ceremony, guests discovered one final surprise as the drapery opened to reveal an entirely new space. The final room embraced a black-on-black aesthetic accented with navy and silver, transforming the venue into an after-party featuring a live performance by Metro Boomin.

Every transition was intentional. Every reveal was designed to leave guests wondering what was behind the next curtain. From venue selection and technical design to scenic environments, custom fabrication, show calling, and production management, our team was honored to help tell the story of the Seahawks' championship season through an experience that celebrated not only the team, but the journey that brought them there. We’re grateful to every vendor and production partner who helped to make this event a success.

This project represents everything we love about experiential production: bold ideas, meticulous execution, and unforgettable moments that exist for only a few seconds but are remembered for a lifetime.
